Prospect Rock Partners is pleased to announce that Alex Clarke has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor, specializing in private capital markets and institutional investor relationships. Alex brings over 25 years of experience in private credit, distressed investing, and healthcare finance across leading investment platforms.
In his new role, Alex will lead Prospect Rock Partners’ efforts to bridge the gap between private capital firms seeking top-tier talent and experienced professionals looking for strategic career opportunities. In his advisory role, Alex will help strengthen the firm’s specialized private capital recruitment practice, advising on the unique talent acquisition challenges facing private credit firms, distressed funds, and the portfolio companies they support.

Most recently, Alex served as Managing Director at Benefit Street Partners for over 10 years, where he managed healthcare investments and built significant expertise in private credit markets. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Apollo Capital Management as Team Leader for Healthcare, where he led debt investing efforts within the healthcare sector, and served as Portfolio Manager at Stone Tower Capital for over six years.
At Prospect Rock Partners, Alex will develop tailored solutions addressing the specific challenges private capital professionals face in today’s competitive talent market, including:

Alex holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics from Queen’s University. He is based in New York and will work out of the firm’s West Palm Beach office.
